My favorite comic book character growing up was Wolverine from the X-Men.  He used to say “I’m the best at what I do, but what I do isn’t very nice.”  Well after 20 years of being a pre-sales solutions consultant, I can confidently say I’m not that great at what I do, but what I do is pretty nice.  I’ve probably made every mistake in the book; every ‘demo crime‘ there is.  But there is nothing I’d rather do for a career.  I created this blog not to tell others what to do, but to remind myself what NOT to do.  If others out there can learn from my mistakes, so be it.

On this site you I will post all my bone headed moves (and how to avoid them), interviews from other software sales engineers, reviews on books and gear, and other ramblings related to the life of a pre-sales consultant/sales engineer/solutions consultant/demo guy/whatever the hell we are calling ourselves these days.
